1. Service Description

BizContinuumAI provides business continuity and succession planning tools powered by artificial intelligence. Our platform helps you document, organize, and plan for business continuity scenarios.

2. No Legal or Financial Advice

You should consult with qualified attorneys, accountants, financial advisors, and other licensed professionals before making any legal or financial decisions regarding your business succession, estate planning, or continuity arrangements.

3. Data Ownership & Privacy

You retain complete ownership of all data you upload to the platform. Your business information is protected through:

• End-to-end encryption at rest and in transit
• Complete data isolation through multi-tenant architecture
• Zero administrative access to your plan details without explicit consent
• No data sharing, selling, or use beyond service provision
• Regular security audits and compliance monitoring

4. User Check-In System

To prevent premature activation of executor plans, we implement a check-in system:

• Regular check-ins reset your inactivity timer
• You'll receive reminders to check in periodically
• Multiple safeguards prevent false activations
• You maintain full control over activation settings

5. Limitation of Liability

BizContinuumAI is a planning tool. We are not liable for:

• Business interruption or losses resulting from succession events
• Accuracy or completeness of AI-generated recommendations
• Actions taken or not taken based on platform guidance
• Delays in executor notification or plan activation
• Technical issues, downtime, or service interruptions
• Third-party integrations or external service failures

6. Service Availability

We strive for 99.9% uptime but cannot guarantee uninterrupted service. We are not liable for temporary service interruptions due to maintenance, updates, security patches, or unforeseen technical issues.

7. Account Termination

You may cancel your subscription at any time through the billing portal. Upon cancellation:

• Your data will be retained for 90 days
• After 90 days, all data is permanently deleted
• You can export your data before cancellation

We may terminate accounts that violate these terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or abuse the service.

8. Payment Terms

Subscriptions are available on a monthly or annual basis, charged in advance at the start of each billing period. Prices may change with 30 days notice to active subscribers.

• All payments are non-refundable. No refunds or credits will be issued for partial billing periods.
• Upon cancellation, your account and all associated features will remain active and accessible through the end of the current billing period. Access will not be revoked immediately upon cancellation.

9. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms periodically. We'll notify you of material changes via email. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of updated terms.

10. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia. Any disputes will be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the American Arbitration Association rules.
